Mukund, originally from New Delhi, now resides in Mumbai, where his passion for film-making took root early on. He earned his degree in Mass Communication from MBICEM, Indraprasth University, New Delhi, in 2004..

Fresh out of college, Mukund seized the opportunity to work on the 2005 French-German film Valley of Flowers, directed by Pan Nalin. This experience ignited his fascination with Production Design, leading to his breakthrough project, the independent film Do Dooni Chaar, for which he won two Filmfare Awards and one Star Screen Award for his exceptional work in Production Design.

In subsequent years, he has eagerly expanded his resume across genres with feature films, web series, and commercial formats. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the most acclaimed directors which has led him to create some remarkable works.
